Creating Space

Mindfully grounding through the body and turning toward the breath invites spaciousness, opportunity. In my mindfulness classes we can learn how to reduce stress, improve communication and bring more joy and fulfilment to our wildly busy lives.

Being Here Now

Mindfulness is often described as, ‘paying attention to the present moment without judgement’. The mind has a tendency to replay the past and bounce into the future while we habitually make our way through the day. When we aren’t paying attention, we can find ourselves automatically reacting to situations in unhelpful ways.

Mindfulness practice teaches us to locate presence when faced with real challenges. We can learn to step out of habitual reactivity and cultivate more emotionally intelligent responses. Read more about my offerings which vary from short introductory courses to the transformational deep dive that is MBSR.

"I got so much from the course. My stress levels have reduced. I feel calmer and more content. My home life feels calmer as a result”   – Adrienne L

Emotional Intelligence

Processing the emotions of others, while understanding and managing our own feelings are important leadership qualities. Mindfulness practices teach us to honour our thoughts, heartfelt senses and gut feelings equally to make the most informed decisions, increasing our potential for successful connection and collaboration.

Our Future Leaders

When taught to look inward, rather than focusing on external achievements, young people can notice their feelings and thoughts without being consumed by them. They can develop their own intuitive leadership style, be grateful for the things that are going well and locate the tools to steady themselves in the face of difficulty.
